Lenovo has unveiled its newest, and its thinnest ever T-series ThinkPad, the ThinkPad T431s. The T431s, slated for a Spring 2013 launch, is the result of extensive customer research over nine months across the world, says the company.

The ThinkPad T431s weighs 3.6 pounds and is 0.82 inches thin.  It is powered by Intel 3rd generation Core processors, and features up to 12 GB of memory with additional HDD and SSD storage options. The T431s has a 14-inch HD+ (1600 x 900) anti-glare display.

Dilip Bhatia (Vice president and general manager, ThinkPad Business Unit, Lenovo): The ThinkPad T431s is the first device featuring Lenovo’s new design, which represents a comprehensive examination of user experience and input.

Lenovo updated the ThinkPad precision keyboard by changing key placement  while maintaining shortcuts, and designing the display with a super thin bezel, among other things.

The ThinkPad T431s will be available in April starting at approximately $949.
