TheWrongMans[Techtaffy Newsdesk]

Superheroes-in-training, rogue French cops, and high-energy mascots are some of the characters you will soon see in Hulu, as part of the online video distribution site’s original programming.

Hulu’s original programming returns later this summer with its first animated Hulu Original Series The Awesomes, co-created by Saturday Night Live’s head writer Seth Meyers and Emmy-winning producer and SNL alum Michael Shoemaker. In its second co-production with BBC via BBC Worldwide Americas, Hulu will also present  The Wrong Mans, a comedic thriller created by and starring Tony Award-winner James Corden, and directed and produced by Jim Field Smith.

Hulu will also debut docu-series  Behind the Mask which explores the secret world of sports mascots. The project is created by Emmy award-winning filmmaker Josh Greenbaum and produced by Felipe Marino and Joe Neurater’s Occupant Entertainment.

Kicking off in January 2013, Hulu Exclusive Series will premiere exclusively on Hulu and Hulu Plus, including French crime thriller Braquo, the second seasons of the Israeli series Prisoners of War, britcoms  Pramface and Fresh Meat, and fourth season of the reality drama The Only Way is Essex. Also joining the line-up is Mother Up!, an animated adult comedy series starring Eva Longoria.

In the past two years, Hulu has launched four distinctive Hulu Original Series. The Hulu Exclusive Series lineup has also expanded to offer viewers 20 premium television shows available exclusively on-demand in the U.S. on Hulu and Hulu Plus.
