Groupon Acquires Breadcrumb

Groupon has acquired point of sale platform provider Breadcrumb, says the company in a blog post.  Founder Seth Harris and his team will be joining Groupon. Breadcrumb will continue to serve new and existing clients.

Groupon will also start offering Breadcrumb to its existing merchant partners. For Groupon merchant partners that use Breadcrumb’s point of sale system, Groupon says it will be able to significantly improve the process of redeeming a Groupon.
