Frank Gehry To Design New Facebook Campus

[Techtaffy Newsdesk]

Legendary architect Frank Gehry will be designing the new Facebook campus, which will be the largest open floor plan in the world. Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of the social network, wrote on his Facebook wall that he was excited to work with Mr. Gehry. “The idea is to make the perfect engineering space,” said Mr. Zukerberg, “one giant room that fits thousands of people, all close enough to collaborate together.” The ‘giant room’ is expected to have plenty of quiet, private spaces as well.

Mark Zuckerberg (Founder and CEO, Facebook): I’m excited to work with Frank Gehry to design our new campus…  From the outside it will appear as if you’re looking at a hill in nature.

“The roof of the building will be a park that blends into the community with a long walking trail, a field and lots of places to sit,” sums up Mr. Zuckerberg.
