Electronic Arts Launches FIFA Soccer 13

Electronic Arts (EA) has launched the next version of its popular soccer game FIFA Soccer 13 in retail stores. The game is also available as a digital download.

More than 1 million games have been pre-ordered worldwide, says EA,while over 4.6 million fans in 123 countries—the most ever for an EA SPORTS game— have played the demo version, marking a  42 percent increase year-over-year in demo users worldwide. In North America, over 875,000 fans have played the demo, driven largely by 294,000 first-time FIFA Soccer fans in the United States.

The videogame, currently available in North America, will release to the rest of the world beginning September 28.
