Elbit Systems Wins $117M Israeli Defense Contract

Elbit Systems was awarded approximately $117 million in contracts by the Israeli Ministry of Defense, for the supply of Command, Control, Computer, Communications and Intelligence (C4I) systems and communications systems. Most of the contracts will be performed over a six-year period.

According to the contracts, Elbit Systems will develop the next generation of Digital Army Project (DAP), a master program that computerizes all operations in the land forces, connecting all field and command ranks into a central data transfer network.  The company is also expected to develop, upgrade and supply communications systems and wide band radio systems, and to provide logistic support and maintenance for these systems.
