Dell Hires Former HP Honcho To Head Enterprise Solutions

Dell has hired Marius Haas, a 20-year industry veteran, as president of Enterprise Solutions, responsible for worldwide engineering, design, development and marketing of Dell enterprise products, including servers, networking and storage systems. Mr. Haas succeeds Brad Anderson, who led Dell’s Enterprise Solutions since joining the company in 2005, and made a personal decision to seek new opportunities.

Mr. Haas joins Dell from Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) where he was responsible for identifying and pursuing new investments, particularly in the technology sector, while also supporting existing portfolio companies with operational expertise.

Prior to that Mr. Haas held a number of leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, Compaq and Intel. Most recently he served as senior vice president and worldwide general manager of the HP Networking Division, where under his leadership HP more than tripled its annual networking revenue. Previously, Mr. Haas served as HP’s senior vice president of Strategy and Corporate Development and was one of the key senior executives leading the Hewlett-Packard transformation from 2005-2009.
