Amazon has reached an agreement to acquire digital comics company comiXology. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2014. Following the acquisition, comiXology’s headquarters will remain in New York.
The second season of the Emmy-nominated Netflix original series, Hemlock Grove, a supernatural thriller from executive producer Eli Roth, will be back on July 11th. The series is based on Brian McGreevy’s novel of the same name and is produced by Gaumont International Television.
